Consumer fastest upgrade to the latest computer, cell phones and music players as the technology becomes more sophisticated, but when it comes to television and DVD player, many viewers are left in the last century. "Analog television system in the U.S. has more than 50 years," said Andy Parsons, spokesman for the Blu-ray Disc Association, which works to bring high-definition home entertainment mainstream. "In two years, people will see some exciting products that make the room as a cinema." What are the instructions for this change? In a word, content. Television stations offer more HD programs via satellite and cable. And movie studios are preparing to release their movies in high-capacity discs, including Blu-ray, you can buy, rent and watch your favorite Hollywood in HD. People come to see true HD setup showing the latest Hollywood blockbuster at a local electronics store you can see the difference in quality immediately. "HDTV is stuck in time people see that you can buy movies and games in the new format," said Parsons. Movies with Blu-ray discs are expected to appear in stores in June. Consumers can expect to find favorite titles like "Crash" and "Terminator" series available, with more and more high-definition discs with stores throughout the summer. Improve the quality, says Parsons, is comparable to what viewers felt when they move from VHS tapes to DVD. "When you see the video footage today, you really realize what a poor image compared to the DVD and have all the menus and extra features that make a DVD," he said. "The move to high definition television and high-definition discs dramatic." Consumers can expect to see the discs and players with the competition format, Parsons says, and the need to consider what they get for their money. For example, he explained, had to ask about the number of games, movies and other products available, so it is not left in a format without a future. Blu-ray Disc, for example, has partnered with major movie studios, music publishers and game developers, and plans to offer the widest range of home entertainment content industry. In addition, players can play all existing standard definition DVDs. Now, it would be difficult to imagine the new effects and high definition television has on our view of home entertainment. However, Parsons said, "In recent years, it is difficult to remember that we think is the best format for DVD movie theaters around."
